I kinda like this 2012 front page design, to this day: tight, packed with info, lots of sliders and accessible content in a short stack.

Compared to our current front page, which is airy, spaced out, lots of room and scrolling.

That said, this 2012 mockup was most definitely NOT mobile friendly, at all. IIRC, when we coded it up, it was completely broken on iOS devices.
