idk man it honestly just depends on a person's taste, some people are genuinely attracted to things you could consider ugly, and some other factors can cause preferences to change for certain people

for me, even if someone isn't physically attractive, I can still be attracted to them based on their personality, and if I like their personality, then I grow to be attracted to their looks too

so even if someone's "ugly", I could grow to find them cute, handsome, pretty, sexy, or even hot if I genuinely start to like them
