Plastic bag bans are a recurring issue around here.
But plastic bags are a nonissue compared to the new practice of covering whole buildings with plastic wrap during construction.
Between wind and the fierce UV at over 6000' elevation, #plastic doesn't last long outdoors. So all this plastic wrap will shred in less than a week, and they'll have to replace it every few days (at least, that's what I've seen at other local construction sites).
Surely there must be a better way?
