I've talked about this before and the way western institutions white wash and repackage Indigenous traditions in liberal academia. Who is doing this bullshit? Men and women who identify as nonbinary, who equate "2spirit", a contemporary pan-indian term, as validation for their narcissism.
Depending on the tribe and band, "2spirit" may mean different things and does not automatically imply transgenderism.
