After I learned enough about #Kubernetes I decided it was actually a bad fit for my needs because of:
* High idle load caused by features irrelevant to my #homelab use case
* High complexity budget that is better spent elsewhere like actually running useful services.
* High maintenance effort.
* Limited scope (switches)
It is the 1000kW supercar with near zero benefits if you actually want to get some groceries.
I went with #ansible, bare metal and #docker where appropriate.
