Wondering if there is some subproject here that provides a base OS and some type of alternative to "docker container" or "package", which could be used by all such projects, like the linux kernel being used in GNU/Linux. This way a project like embassyOS could be based on this.
I guess what I am looking for is some sort of hyperfocus by the community on a single very secure/minimal/stable base layer. Literally get your mom to use nixos.
Apple style NixOS (minus the surveillance and proprietary licensing)
