When I pointed out that ordinary consumers are really not usually well equipped to deal with Linux desktops because they usually don't have robust support systems, this person tries to educate me about how great Linux is and makes snide remarks. I've been using/developing UNIX/Linux since the 1970s, starting with UNIX V6 direct from Bell Labs. Probably before this guy or gal was born. What is it with people on #Mastodon? No wonder so many people come here and then are driven away.
