Im somewhat serious. It doesnt even fucking surprise me if these gifs that every phone and keyboard and social media and whatever show at first are just "marketed" gifs. They are free advertising for these companies and I start to even wonder how effective they are. Tons of hollywood movies seem to try so hard to make "hard" or "quotable" scenes that just fall so fucking flat and they still end up pushing them anyway. If I even paid attention to most hollywood movies I'd be so damned to find a scene or shot that is clearly just "gif-able", and if you searched up any keywords from the scene you'd probably find a gif.
