The thing I realized after publishing it is that it was too long — the specs/packing list, narrative description of the computer, and story about a specific use case/set of software probably should have been broken out into different (linked) posts.\n\nThe narrative stories are very fun but rare (not every computer comes with a hard drive full of files from 1992), AND hard to tell, since pretending to be an expert in a stranger's life feels weird.",
