#PennedPossibilities 510 — What genre(s) do you like to read and / or write the most?
I like reading intrusive fantasy, like the books of Charles Williams, and early Alan Garner and early Phil Rickman, and C.S. Lewis's "That Hideous Strength".
And I like writing in the same genre -- as C.S. Lewis said to J.R.R. Tolkien, if we want more of the kind of stories we like, we shall have to write them ourselves.
I've written & published 3 #childrensbooks that could be classified as rural intrusive fantasy, and am now trying to write an urban fantasy series, but it keeps moving out of the city (in this case, 1960s Johannesburg).
