theo h. mann (nprofile…423k) it felt like they were forcing a more dynamic game to skinwalk as dark souls, enemies are too aggressive for the grounded, realistic dark souls movesets, lothric knights and abyss watchers are greatest examples of that, plus the game forcing you to die several dozen times because you have to get adjusted to the fact there's wakeup rolls and the game demands you use them even though last two games you were used to not having shit like that going on
also i guess from a personal nitpick it just feels like they were desperately trying to fanservice people with ds1 shit after ds2 was "bad" (it was the best one though)
