Can someone explain to me, like I am five, why there aren't laws prohibiting corporations from owning multiple single family dwellings in order to rent them out to people who are unable to buy their own homes due to the number of corporations who own multiple single family dwellings?

This seems like an easy problem to solve legislatively.
