Today, Human Rights Watch published their investigation of Ethiopian army atrocities in the town of Merawi in late January. They found that soldiers killed scores of unarmed, civilian young men and at least one woman, following a rebel assault on the town.

They used satellite imagery analysis and interviewed over 20 eyewitnesses to put together a thorough blow by blow account of events in the town beginning January 29th.
