EllisDee (npub1xmw…chsj) Terry (npub1msm…0dqu) Electric Pants :prince_dance: (npub1qq7…fedr) I noticed that a large number of brands closed their representation and then quietly re-appeared in Russian stores. The most shocking was Apple. The Apple Store in downtown Moscow was closed for 3 days. Then it re-opened with no official word as to what happened and how it continues to operate. I highlight Apple because unlike the choko iPhones cannot be grey- or parallel-imported: Apple has the power to shut down devices remotely at any moment. A few brands did not return, such as McDonalds. But they seem to be in the minority actually. I find it somewhat strange, because Russian market is not anywhere as large and important as Chinese. Not to mention very real difficulties with the financial transactions these days.
