I’ve never been much of a specialist. I’m what some might have called an “all-rounder” back in the day, or maybe a polymath if that didn’t sound so braggadocios. I am easily bored and require a lot of variety. I am a generalist. I know a little about a lot of things.
But I’ve learned to appreciate the obsessive who has dedicated their life to one thing. That’s where excellence lies.
