The Japan Coast Guard claims that China has removed the buoys it had placed in waters around the Diaoyu Islands.
On February 11th, during the Foreign Ministry press conference, a Japanese reporter raised this issue. Spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated that the buoys in question have completed their operational tasks at their original positions, and relevant Chinese authorities have made autonomous and technical adjustments based on actual scientific observation needs.
