It's true that Crimea used to be part of Russia. Then Russia gave it away.
If I decide to give my neighbor a fridge, and then change my mind, I can't just go into his garage and grab it back. I gave it to him, it's his now.
Same with Crimea. If the people who live there want to be part of Russia, they need to use legally recognized processes to make it happen.
Not invite their friends to break into their neighbor's garage to steal back the fridge.
