I’ve just done the first run (uphill, spring) of Japanese Rail Sim Hakone, and it’s an interesting one.
It’s one hell if a climb and the need to water the wheels on tight turns is something I’ve not come across before, so that’s neat!
First thing I noticed is that because it’s so tight and steep, the 8.9km run takes a good while as you rarely go over 20km/h.
Also they’ve added for what I think is the first time, animated environments when stationary, which makes the stops less jarring.
The tour guide audio in Japanese and English is also really nice. Gonna call that a day and try Real Pro 2!
