If the solution to fixing our broken fiat financial system didn't come from academia, why do people think investing in fiat funded academic research is going to do anything to solve the obesity, health and chronic disease crisis. So many preventable diseases due to diet and lifestyle. It's all broken incentives. Answers will come from outside, they already are. Just most people aren't listening.
