Out of curiosity, for those of you who are creators and active in fandoms that have conventions, how long did it take before you started getting guests and GOH slots? Especially if you’re not a straight white dude. I started getting my first invites after I had several books out, then got to be a headliner with my first novel, an editor guest with my second anthology and for 2024, I’m filling a Publisher GoH slot. I have been published since 1997. 🤔
