I've noticed that a lot of the markdown formatting issues I used to have on Iceshrimp are simply not a thing on GoToSocial, so now I'm curious if the issues around stripping out formatting I was having in Iceshrimp are a thing or not.
If you have a second, could you let me know if any of this doesn't render correctly for you?
inline quote. When this formatting is stripped out, it should start with a greater-than symbol, and it should not be butted up against the text that follows.
This text should be normal, but following the quote on a new line.
The following line should be bold, but if formatting is not supported it should still say "This line should be bold."
This line should be bold.
The following line should be italic, but if formatting is not supported, it should still say "This line should be italic."
This line should be italic.
