Okay, I have lost all sense of what is being said/interpreted here. ‘No stone unturned’ is just a hyperbolic idiom, right? It isn’t really a measure of activity? So unless the lawyers are taking it quite literally (and what could that even mean?) what’s realistic or not in stone-turning?
