Back to work today shutting down this family home. Last night, we cousins gathered round the dining room table, eating takeout with plastic forks that came with the delivery. We were exhausted. We who once had to sit at the kids' table are old. The house is almost empty. We laughed and displayed our quirky natures, which have only grown as we aged. Earlier, trying to work together, we got on each others' nerves terribly. We've been together forever, and we love each other dearly.
