Not because of the global warming angle, that’s nonsense, but because if the U.S. truly decided to not do the globalism thing and to impose tariffs for access to our markets… then controlling all shipping lanes around us would be the top military and financial priority, and we could give up trying to control the sea ways and trade routes around the whole globe.
