I think I *finally* understand what you're telling me here. lol Yes, libassuan/gpg issues/errors happen (at fault of slackpkg+) during that particular upgrade. There's a setting in /etc/slackpkg.conf for "CHECKGPG=" set it off for that upgrade and things should go smoothly. OR you can manually wget the package/s from a mirror and "upgradepkg" them but the issue has been corrected within slackware's aaa_libraries update, so, nothing should need to be done user-facing while upgrading now.
