I was thinking the same thing. Considering that it'd probably out last me, and that you pay for it once with a but of maintenance over the years, I think it's a good deal. The average US power bill is $154/mo. (According to Google). So it would ROI in about 5yrs. Then, maybe another 3k for solar panels and mounting. I can see EASILY getting 20yrs out of it.
