Bugger. Sometimes, a particular plant just will not grow for some people and there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it. My mother has amazing green fingers, but cannot keep a tulip alive to save her life! I have a similar issue with basil. All I have to do is look at it and it wilts.
