Try not to worry about it. Windows does not always like to play well when you do a dual boot situation with Linux.
My advice to you is to wipe away everything. Your Ubuntu and Windows (malware and spyware pretending to be an operating system). Then do a clean complete reinstall of Ubuntu, or better yet PopOS for a full throttle Linux only experience.
At this point in time with projects like wine, bottles, playonlinux, steam, libreoffice suite, and more. There really isn't much that you can't install on Linux anymore if it runs on windows.
There is almost always a free open source software that can replace a proprietary windows one. As well as many software and services are now run through the web browser now too.
Overall your quality of life will improve once you dive deep into Linux. You can do it. You can live the free software life and love it dearly. No more being spied on either. I believe in you. Let me know if you have any questions, or need help converting over to the FOSS side.
