I think one reason I quit the job coaching space is that I'd had enough. An entire month of just talk and no action. The coach wanted to schedule some meetings with two of potential employers, but they weren't interesting to me.
One of them was the same employer a previous coach had talked about and I had rejected. He told me to reconsider.
The coaches were probably confused because I gave conflicting information. I couldn't make my mind up. The main thing I learned from going there is that I don't like offices very much.
There isn't much to look at in an office. I need to take a look or have a go. I can't make my mind up about people and places I've never met or seen.
Applying for jobs at companies who hide in sterile offices makes no sense to me. I think that's why shops and restaurants are interesting to me. In some restaurants, you can even watch them cook.
