We're all feeling lots of feelings today. I'm very used to that because of my background so here's what I do in this type of situation:

I channel the feelings into something that is good for me. It can be some type of exercise. It can be something artistic. It can be a walk in nature listening to some music. A bike ride. Baking. The point is - the feelings need to get out of the body through some activity that is good for me.

I would like to suggest that you try that to avoid doomscrolling, and social media in general today. You already did everything you could, and it's time to be kind to yourself. Keeping the feelings locked in never did me any good, but also letting them out in a disorganized fashion was not good for me either. Hence, I run, cycle, do yoga, dance, bake, do *something* that is not social media and allows for them feelings to GTFO my mind
