Over in the A11y Slack, someone did a “hey guys!” intro and the automated responder suggested less gendered terms. So someone else thumbsed it down.

When reminded about community norms, the down-thumber cited his rights (because of course it was a guy) and then whined about people being offended.

So anyway, remember that douchebros are in the accessibility space but have generally kept their heads down. I fear that may change.

At least this Slack lets me mute them (though I cannot block).
