From what I understand of your post it depends on a magical bytecode-binary-from-nowhere being distributed for interpretation through a bytecode interpreter coded in C.
Without some way of compiling or interpreting the original source from C (or something else), OCaml is not any more bootstrappable than Ada (GNAT requires a magical previous GNAT from nowhere, as the original bootstrap was once proprietary and that source was never released as far as I am aware).
