They recently changed legislation around pre-buys so now everyone's trying to get out of buying since they don't want to be landlords they just wanted to be able to flip it once it was built, realtor recommended listing below the value. I wish we hadn't had a tenant because they also ruled you have to give 4 months notice to evict. But November was when the snow started so we couldn't do the move right away.
The plus side is the value of our home doubled in the several years we've had it. But I was hoping for a bigger nest egg.
