The Eurocentric worldview, for example, is inextricably borne of monotheism. Sure, religion != belief in god, but it's pervasive nevertheless. Eg the need for an end, an aim, a conclusion, a grand unifying theory, is very different from, eg, Aboriginal worldviews, as is the need for definite, binary definitions which, ironically, hold us back when it comes to the quantum realm.
