Lately i've been thinking about my obsession with having plenty of time for my hobbies and beyond the fact that they are important to me, i think i've gotten the answer.

Growing up i saw my dad and noticed he was consumed by work completely. Not only "I work a lot" but the fact that he was a workaholic. He was always at work. When we went on a trip he inmediately wanted to go to work. When i spent time with him he forced me to help him at work. His hobbies revolved around his work.

And tbh, i dread becoming like that. To the point that work becomes the only thing in my life
