when people ask me how I'm doing I usually just tell them that I'm not doing great and explain the situation I'm in and I feel like people often find this off-putting, and like, what do they expect me to say?? That everything is great? To look for the positive sides? That'd be a lie. My life and lives of people close to me got seriously fucked over in the last year and a half, everything feels like a never-ending nightmare. I do have streaks when I feel okay, good even, but-
