🟧 🎉We just had a Block Party on Saturday! So what is this and how did it go?

💡 First—what is a mining block party?

A block party is a solo mining run with a team. A group of people come together to contribute hashrate to try and mine a block. If a block is found, the team splits the 3.125 BTC (roughly $302,143) reward - not bad!.

💡 How does it work?

1. Bid on hashrate
2. Send hash to CK Pool (a special “pool” for solo mining)
3. Monitor the mining

The on-chain escrow address for the payout is the username at CKPool, where you can monitor the progress of the block party.

💡 How did our Rigly Block Party on January 11 go?
