The MAGA republicans go into the next session believing they have a mandate, and having the power to do it. They are in a position to Get Things Done(TM), and that worries me.
It is a law of bureaucracy that every government action comes with an equal and opposite unintended consequence. The more that bureaucracy does, the more unintended consequences. Every time gov't has a mandate, they screw something up.
The best government (short of actually reducing the size of gov't, which has never happened in my lifetime) is one which is deadlocked and unable to do anything but waste money, while letting the free market run the country.
