Guns protect us from tyranny and keep the government from messing with us.
Keeping a gun registry would let the government know who has all the guns and would be the first step towards confiscating everyone's guns.
But, if the government is afraid of people who have guns, wouldn't that just be a list of people the government will know not to mess with?
