Evernote laid off basically their entire staff today. They're raising prices, and are "going to build new features" with the revenue.

Except that the app and sync and web clipper have increasingly not worked. Dunno who's going to build all those new features with nobody left to work there.

I transitioned over to Obsidian this morning, which I already had owned and explored about 18 months ago, and holy *wow* have these folks polished this project.

No love lost, honestly.
