In the meanwhile I’m trying to build a generic and fair way to boost notes, where reposters can automatically earn sats by reposting a boosted note.

Should be transparent and also easy to simply hide all promoted content, but incentives might line up so that everyone benefits and earns some sats, maybe this could even dip into relay operator monetization.
