Spain is destroying itself through its extreme socialism. I don't know about economics and any formal statistics, but I have been visiting it every few years for more than a decade, and it is absolutely evident in every day life, every day sights in neighbourhoods. It is more and more like the old USSR that I remember from the inside. Even the decorations, the style is not just degrading, it is turning into exactly the same style of what I used to live in in USSR. They tend to choose the same shapes and colors and patterns in visual design of everything. Imagine that.
All hope in Trump. Hopefully he will be able to turn it around without needing covid-like lessons anymore. I don't know why he would care about Spain at all, but he cares about the world.
