you are showing this because you disabled link preview function (tap"tap to show preview" to enable)
which i do trust and use this function alot in my brower
and yes i know you can also deselect people(like twitter) but you can't deselect the author of the toot you reply to(like twitter).
for mastodon, id handler in reply is just for notification, you CAN reply a toot WITHOUT notify its author.
btw i think it's better to add an /br to the end of id handler.
