Radicale:
- kinda works
- supports a lot of different auth options (good, I want IMAP or LDAP)
- CardDav doesn't work right on Apple. It connects, but no address books seem to really exist or work. As a result you can't set it as a default contact source. Seems to be a known bug reported and nobody knows why.
Baikal (SabreDAV):
- assholes refuse to implement auth mechanisms, patches are floating around but don't seem to work (functionality mostly there from what I can see, but it does nothing)
- ok, I'll just use a separate password...
- Apple Caldav works
- Apple Carddav does not work at all. Refuses to connect no matter what.
Other options are all even worse maintained and trash
