Tech regulation is finally catching up with this. Interoperation is being mandated in laws like the EU DMA and UK DMCCA. Other jurisdictions are watching how this plays out and will hopefully follow.
If they do, this will be a death blow to DataFarming. As well as any other predatory corporate practice that depends on not only refusing to support interoperation, but actively blocking it.
