for the record, there is no untamed wilderness anywhere in the Netherlands. The entire country is one highly domesticated garden from one end to the other. Anything more inconvenient than nettles has been excised from the environment and replaced with more of something pleasant.
It is in fact pleasant, but it's also a bit uncanny if you grew up somewhere with actual wilderness. It's very much like what I imagine "nature areas" in space colonies would be like
