1/3 I've been thinking idly about the way we can never ever trust networked devices again.
Phones that scan your pictures, predictive keyboards that are effectively keyloggers, maps that track you, cars that spy on your driving. And DRM laws that criminalize killing these unwanted features. That's all well-known to the point of boredom. (Right?)
I think I figured out what really bothers me about all this.
