If Linux becomes a serious player in the PC space it's when Google or some other big company makes android but for computers. (I know chromeOS is a thing but it runs even less stuff then normal linux). Hell if a big company forked linux and made a consumer grade version Microshit would prob be willing to port crap to it as long as they were eating Apple's computer share.
