Furthermore, as I said, all of the reasons I've seen to keep it alive are really just massive cope. Just because other companies do some of this doesn't mean TikTok didn't need to go. It also doesn't mean other companies should be allowed to do it either BUT unlike the idiots at ByteDance, they technically obey US laws. All ByteDance had to do is divest and they'd be fine, but nope. Tells you all you need to know: the national security concerns are legitimate.
