Some of you may recall that in 2022, my friend Professor Christy Hammer faced a walkout by some of her grad students, who demanded she be replaced bc she said there were only two biological sexes.

I'm happy to report that after THREE investigations over the past 2 years (all initiated by one nonbinary student), the Maine Human Rights Commission has now cleared Christy of all charges.
MHRC ruled that saying there are two sexes was not inherently discriminatory, that sex realism is a valid viewpoint, and that educators must be permitted to express controversial opinions in the classroom. The MRHC also found that Hammer’s accidental misgendering of the student did not violate Civil Rights law or EEO policy.
